ELECTRICAL TESTING

It is a requirement under the Health Safety at Work Act, that businesses carry out regular electrical testing on both fixed installations and portable appliances. This is a statutory requirement and failure to comply can result in either a fine or in worst cases imprisonment.

To conform it is imperative that testing on existing installations be carried out regularly.

EPL is able to provide testing for both new and existing fixed installations as well as for portable appliances (PAT Testing).

All installations are fully tested to the principles of BS7671 and an NICEIC installation certificate is issued to the client.

For your convenience all client certification and reports are available via our secure online client portal.

We never cut corners. Just costs.

As well as reducing your bills, an energy-efficient air conditioning system can entitle you to financially benefit from the government ECA scheme, offering a 100% tax relief on any investment in energy-saving equipment within the same year.

PLUMBING

A good water testing programme may test all of the following:

Total viable count (TVC) - estimates the total numbers of microorganisms, such as bacteria, yeast or mould species and gives an overall indication of the general water quality.

Legionella - the bacteria that causes Legionnaires’ disease

Pseudomonas - bacteria that can lead to damaging blockages and corrosion of pipework

Chemical make-up of water

Physical parameters - testing for total and suspended solids

Metal parameters - testing for metal determines asset wear, system integrity and water quality

Corrosion, scale and contaminants - reveals water quality, underlying system parameters and safety

DRAINAGE

Times have changed so to keep up we need to change the way we think. It’s time to move away from experiencing a blockage which has taken you by surprise – an unexpected inconvenience – instead implementing a strategic cost effective planned maintenance programme to reduce the likely hood of reoccurring blockages and the potential to flood and cause harm.

We wish to eliminate the inconvenience and potential risk of reoccurring blockages, as well as internal and external flooding.

These issues put great strain on everyday life within the public and commercial sector, personally and financially.

Time is always a concern for our customers. This is why we work 24 hours a day 7 days a week and 365 days a year, to keep our customers reassured that we are always on hand to fix their drainage issues.
